Karmic Debt 14: Temperance

Karmic Debt Number 14 is symbolized as Temperance in Tarot. Every now and then I look to Tarot and Astrology to help me gain a greater awareness of the energy of a number. According to Nancy Garden, Tarot Made Easy, a Major Arcana always indicates an important event, category, or month and will overpower all other cards in both impact and effect.

A person wants spiritual assistance in producing the solution to a problem. The person feels as if s/he will explode if things in their life don’t change; the need for change is overwhelming. The person will have unexpected problems to confront which could also include an unwelcome sexual advance from someone. During a Karmic Debt 14, the best thing to do is maintain command over the unpredictable circumstances, and retake control of your life and bring it back into balance. What the person is experiencing is a clash between the Old Self and the New Self, "a chemical reaction in mind, body, and affairs caused by a reaction a new action.” More often than not, during a Karmic Debt 14, a person gets pleasure from sensual pleasures and can totally immerse Self in fulfilling those desires. A person has a hothead and irresponsible nature which propels her/him into problematical situations. Ultimately you will “inherit” spiritual encouragement and positive changes by looking beyond your present limitations.
