The Power of 8 and 10

I watched the entire 82nd Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, a first for me! The words I heard over and over again on Sunday night, “this is the first” revealing the power of the Number 10.

Jeff Bridges, a Life Number 3 and a Personal Year 10, after five nominations, won his "first" Oscar for Best Actor in "Crazy Heart."

The year 2010 links to the Number 82 (8 + 2 = 10). The Number 10 is considered a conversion point; a greater mission now lies on the shoulders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and those that won their first Oscar on Sunday night.

The Number 10 similar to the Number 3 bestows luck, honor and success. The Number 10 flaunted its brilliance to the millions of people watching the Academy Awards on Sunday, March 7th, validating what we witnessed in 2008 (2 + 0 + 0 + 8 = 10), we’re headed in a new direction, beginning a new cycle in the world. In due time, we’ll each learn to see the world in a different way and accept the fact that things are changing.

The Power of 8

Mo'Nique won the Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in "Precious.” She is the 16th African American actress to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress." I wasn’t sure if Mo’Nique could pull it off but the Number 8, the prima donna, showed up and showed off at the Academy Awards. Mo’Nique is in a Personal Year 8, a fantastic money/business cycle. The Number 8 is the giver of power, authority, position, wealth, and strength, it rules the material plane. Receiving the rewards of the Number 8 comes with a whole heap of pressure and responsibility which is now resting on the shoulders of Mo’Nique.

Katherine Bigelow, a Life Number 9 won the Oscar for best director, the first woman to ever win. Bigelow is in a Personal Year 5, Transit Cycle 17 (1 + 7 = 8). She too had the Number 8 show up and now has a heap of pressure and responsibility now resting on her shoulders. Bigelow's Transit suggests that long after she’s no longer with us, folks will remember her as the first female to win Best Director and Best Picture of the year “The Hurt Locker.”

I hate to spoil this wonderful moment but I am a Numerologist, I do have to caution Mo’Nique of the Karmic Debt Number 16 attached to the Oscar, a number that warns one of danger and defeat. "She is the 16th African American actress to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress." Remember numbers provide notification of potential favorable or unfavorable circumstances. Mo'Nique should keep her priorities in order, and don’t succumb to the destructive characteristics of the Number 8, boastful, self-righteous careless, full of Self. Keep a balance between the spiritual and worldly, and most of all remember the Oscar truly belongs to everyone in the film. Although many would like to think so, nobody achieves success single-handedly, without help. Lee Daniels saw something within Mo'Nique that she couldn’t see within Self, and he aimed to bring that something out for his film. Given that Daniel’s links back to the Academy Award, there is a probability that he’s feeling hopeless, humiliated, confused, skeptical of his talent(s), remember the Number 3 can exaggerate emotions. It would benefit all those that contributed to the success of Precious if Mo’Nique remains thoughtful, reserved, and humbled.

Because it takes a lot of time to accurately do so, more often than not, I don't have success predicting the winners, especially when there are so many folks competing! You have to literally scrutinize every nominees Blueprint (if you can find name and birth info) and for me, it’s not worth the extra effort. Be that as it may, expect many more incentives and appeals from the Universe for change. Congratulations to all the winners, your endurance and strength of mind finally paid off!
