Numerology, What’s Real

I have a disclaimer on my blog because although I appreciate all the sites we have listed on our Blog List, I don’t always agree with what is said. According to ASTRONLOGIA “There is only one way or concept for numerology which is definitive, rest are man made types of numerology.”

In my opinion, his statement perpetuates narrow-mindedness which again in my opinion has continued to perpetuate religious warfare. I remember as if it was yesterday when my grandmother departed this life, my devout Baptist uncle had his pastor come to her bedside. Mind you in the numerous years I knew my grandmother, she never went to church. I was further disappointed when he intently stated that in order to go to heaven she had to be a Baptist.

I get concerned when folks say there is “only one way” to do or achieve anything in life. Science, inventors, technology, etc. compete against that line of reasoning. Numerology is based on interpretation which ultimately depends on the understanding, convictions and experiences of the Numerologist. Numerology is wisdom passed down from generation to generation, like legends, folktales, how do you know whether the person or author that passed the knowledge down to you hasn’t added or taken away the facts.

I routinely tell Numerology Apprentices to determine which system is right for YOU, don’t take my word on anything, translate the numbers for Self, apply your learning, and see what works best for YOU.

It’s okay to branch off from the same root and improve the stems and foliage, learning and broadening our knowledge.

In my opinion, same is true with Numerology, the foundation was laid many many years ago and it’s up to the Numerologist of this era to improve upon that foundation, not cutting down the original tree but enriching what’s already there and using newly acquired knowledge, and Spiriual wisdom to keep Numerology flourishing for many, many more years to come.

In my opinion, instead of celebrating everyone’s individuality, uniqueness we are being duped into conformity, the accepted views/beliefs, and standards set by a few. We must understand that there are more than 2 or 3 people in the world with Spiritual wisdom, should we discredit the others?

So I offer my friends and guests another thing to add to his ‘10 Things You Must Know About Numerology’

11. There is NOT one way or ONE concept for numerology which is definitive, and there’s nothing wrong with man-made replica’s as long as Spirit is your guide and not man or greed.

As can be illustrated by the Number 11, people can have two different views and work side by side for the benefit of the whole. Something many have yet to learn!

Folks let’s not start a senseless rivalry about Numerology! Please focus on the Greater Purpose.

I trust that Numerologist will keep in mind that Numerology is simply a channel, an avenue that Spirit uses to work through you in order that you may help others. When people are hurting they don’t care about the particulars, they just want to be guided and healed from the discomfort and suffering. If two women are suffering from headaches, one might take a Tylenol while the other takes Advil, they’re both alleviated of their pain, different brand, and same result.

Sometimes it behooves folks to stay focused on the big picture!

Again my opinion, give it some thought or pay no heed to what I say – Choice IS Always Yours!
